Software available for Model 73A SCSI CAMAC Crate Controller
For DIGITAL UNIX or OSF-1:
The CAM ("Common Access Method ANSI X3T9") package is utilized. In addition, we supply a
object module that generates the calls to the CAM software, although the user can call the CAM routines
directly. . Contact Jorway
For Macintosh:
An extensive software package (Kmax) is available from Sparrow Corporation at www.sparrowcorp.com
For SUN:
A driver is for the Sparc Station is available from Princeton University.
For the IBM PC and Clones:
Jorway can supply a DLL (dynamic link library) that calls the ASPI (Advanced SCSI
Programming Interface) software supplied by most host adapter manufacturers. This DLL can be linked

	information.
   For Labview Users:
At Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory Diagnostics Software has been written to use the
Jorway 73A SCSI CAMAC controller. The diagnostics are written in National Instruments
LabVIEW 5.1 for testing various CAMAC modules. These diagonistics could also be used as a
guide for writing programs in LabVIEW for CAMAC instrumentation.
see to (http://www.fnal.gov/fermitools/abstracts/camac/abstract.html) for additional information.
National Instruments also has drivers for the Model 73A. Contact http://ni.com or
click HERE for Model 73A National Instruments driver information.
For VXworks:
A driver was originally written at the now defunct SSC Lab for a number of processors using the
VXworks. This driver is now in use at Triumf, and is in the public domain.
Silicon Graphics:
A driver is in use at Fermilab.
Hewlett Packard 9000-300 series:
A complete driver has been written at Jorway. It requires a dedicated SCSI bus for data
